Made for iPhone hearing aids?

There is a ton of cool stuff coming out with the new iOS6 release for Apple products.  They also included more accessibility features through Guiding Access.

Does anyone know what Apple means by their “Made for iPhone Hearing Aids”?  I’m guessing these are actual hearing aids.

Eh, as much as I love Apple products, I think I’ll stick with Phonak if that is the case, but it sure would be nice if they could do something about the interference and weird sounds that I get when I try to use my phone with my hearing aid.

I don’t run into any problems with the cochlear implant.  The quality of sound I get from it is much better.
